A washed Mejorado lot from Abel Salinas’ ‘Finca Arashi’ in Saragura, Loja, Ecuador. A rather high altitude farm here at 1900masl, Salinas has been growing coffee since 2016, and his efforts in growing and processing his coffee has even won him a Cup of Excellence title. We probably haven’t shared this before but Mejorado is a hybrid variety of Ethiopian coffees and Bourbon, leading to the harmonious highs and richness we find in this extraordinary cup: expect complexity reminding you of orange, orange blossom, mango, ripe berries, maybe a lil cherry...
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 24.2.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
