A washed Heirloom selection from Arnaud Causse’s ‘Terrazas del Pisque’ in Pichincha, Ecuador. Causse has a meticulous approach in his high altitude farm in the middle of the high desert. Being in his unique location and climate allows a great level of experimentation with variety, thanks to his ability to ‘let nature do the work’ as far as growing, fertilising and drying goes. We taste a uniquely Ethiopian-esque profile here, bursting with stonefruits and understated as we come to love and appreciate from Prestin's roasting: we were reminded of peach, orange, cacao, raw sugar, florals and praline!
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 24.2.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
