Blueberry ice cream anyone?
This is a silky, complex and smashable coffee. This natural lot comes from the Bensa washing station located on the border of Sidama and West Arsi in Ethiopia. This coffee reminded us of apricot and caramel, with a creamy and sweet finish like blueberry ice cream - a note that's brought out even more when brewing.
Koppi was founded by Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand and are based in Helsingborg, Sweden. We normally write something ourselves but we thought this quote from Charles was the most fitting way to describe Koppi: "The producers are always the stars behind good coffee. [Our] job as a roaster is simply to try to bring out what’s already there without adding and taking as little as possible away."This coffee is a light roast and is good to drink for up to 3 months! We recommend drinking these coffees 4 - 6 weeks after roast and keeping them in an airtight container.
