We're really thrilled to be offering this experimental lot from Gesha Village. This comes as a 250g bag - rather than 100g which is quite common for experimental lots, so more coffee for you to enjoy!
This comes from the Oma plot of Gesha Village and has undergone a 'honey anaerobic' fermentation - fermented with mucilage for 72 hours and sun-dried slowly for 25 days. This is to help boost the ktropical flavours, intensify the overall profile and increase complexity.
This is an incredibly dynamic coffee. While hot, we were reminded of candied citrus, jasmine and orange. As the coffee cooled, we found a very sweet flavour profile with flavours like grape and a bright peachiness!
April has made quite the name for themselves since they began in 2016. The Copenhagen based company produces their own videos and podcasts, hosts their own media platform, creates merchandise and (most importantly) roasts incredibly sweet and transparent coffee. Their unique approach sees them producing everything from high-quality Gesha lots to sustainably sourced coffee for pod machines.
This coffee is a light roast and is good to drink for up to 3 months! We recommend drinking these coffees 4 - 6 weeks after roast and keeping them in an airtight container.
All coffees are 250g and whole beans. If you'd like your coffee ground, please leave a comment when checking out.
