"Ridiculously complex" was what first came to mind when we tasted this coffee.
An Anaerobic Natural Caturra lot from Shady and Elias Bayter in Colombia. This particular lot blew us away for the complexity and sheer amount of flavour in the cup. We found flavours like plum, bright citrus, chocolate and a bit of a boozy vibe (without being funky, more refined like a sake). This coffee is from One Day's "Experimental" series, showcasing unique processing like this lot from El Vergel.
One Day was founded by Finnish Barista Champion Kaapo Paavolainen in Helsinki in 2020. One Day aims to share coffees that push your expectations of what coffee can taste like, regularly featuring lots with unique processing, stories and of course, flavour profiles.This coffee was roasted on September 9, is 200g and whole beans.
