A juicy, round and clean washed AA lot from the Ichuga Washing Station in Karatina, Nyeri in Kenya. Coffees grown around Mount Kenya produce such outstanding flavours thanks to the high altitude of the region and the nutrient rich volcanic soil. This particular lot stood out to us with flavours that reminded us of rhubarb, orange and blackcurrant!
MOK is a micro-roastery based out of Belgium founded by two-time Belgian Cup Tasters Champion, Jens Crabbé. Their goal is to purchase from the same producers every year, and only from producers they have met and implicitly trust to produce quality coffee. They focus on quality and integrity in the coffee chain, roasting to showcase clear flavours of origin, processing and varietal.
We find our coffees taste best 4 to 6 weeks after their roast date, and you can enjoy delicious cups for up to 3 months after roast. We recommend storing all coffees in an airtight container.
All coffees are 250g and whole beans. If you'd like your coffee ground, please leave a comment when checking out.
