A washed SL28 and SL34 (mostly) lot from the Karimikui Washing Station in Kirinyaga, Kenya. This is a super juicy coffee! We found flavours like strawberry, blackcurrant as well as a lovely black tea vibe we've come to love and expect from coffees from Kirinyaga. For any Kenyan Coffee fans out there, Rungeto FCS also runs Kii and Kiangoi washing stations!
Koppi was founded by Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand and are based in Helsingborg, Sweden. We normally write something ourselves but we thought this quote from Charles was the most fitting way to describe Koppi: "The producers are always the stars behind good coffee. [Our] job as a roaster is simply to try to bring out what’s already there without adding and taking as little as possible away."This coffee is a light roast and is good to drink for up to 3 months! We recommend drinking these coffees 4 - 6 weeks after roast and keeping them in an airtight container.
