A washed Bourbon Ají from Jhonathan Gasca’s ‘Finca Zarza’ in Bruselas, Colombia. Just like last time, I thought this was a Kenyan! Evidently, it’s not. I literally wrote 'mmm Tim Wendelboe Kenyan?? Rosehip and raspberry vibes!'. Ají is a relatively new coffee variety, named so because it leaves a lil tingle on the fingers of the pickers who pick it! We’ve had this variety a few times now, but this is our favourite representation: it is a super sweet, berry forward and floral cup! We were reminded of raspberry, apple jolly rancher, super sweetness, rosehip and superbly floral. No wonder this was all our staffs fave on the table!
Dak was founded by Louis-Philippe Boucher and Veronique Lagarde, and they roast in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This coffee was roasted on 9.9.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
