Pretty nice having two Ethiopians from outside the usual areas, this one hails from Khalid Shifa in Goma, located in the Jimma region of Ethiopia. You might notice the harvest date seems a bit old here - but realistically this is by design: Team Wendelboe place a massive focus on green storage, keeping all green vac packed and using 100% each pack per roast, as well as having a complete cold-chain storage from warehouse to roastery. This ensures that despite an older harvest date the coffees are extremely fresh, floral and vibrant - something we have never seen executed by anyone else in the industry. We taste mandarin, berries, floral sparkling and herbaceous.
