A washed ‘Anaerobic slow dry’ Gesha from the ineffable Lamastus Family’s plot in the Volcan Baru National Park in Alto Quiel, Boquete, Panama. We haven’t featured the Lamastus Family in quite some time, but with all these Panama Geshas floating around we figured now would be as good a time as any. From this multiple Best of Panama winner, we get to taste their unique washed ASD process, which starts with depulping coffee and a 24h CO2-free sealed fermentation, before slowly drying the pulped cherries over 23 days. The result is delicate, complex and gave us notes of honey, honeydew, plum, tea like, jasmine, green tea and pineapple!
Datura was founded by Loïc Peneau, and they roast in Paris, France. This coffee was roasted on 8.9.2025.
This coffee is 100g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
