A washed blend of Java, Chiroso, Caturra and Sidra from Ernedis Rodriguez' 'Los Exóticos' in Gigante, Huila, Colombia. I think Prestin said it best on his website, "[the blend]'s got the perfect mix of of bright and weighted cherry styles. The Java & Caturra anchor the body and mouthfeel. The Chiroso & Sidra lighten the cup with subtle florals and citrus. The result of the these four cherries coming toghether makes for a magical, balanced and layered cup profile". We found a complex and floral cup, hitting us with apple, honey and white grape acidity while hot and cooling into something rich and textural, but floral as well - we tasted marmalade and summer berries and a very sweet finish!
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 6.1.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
