A washed selection from the Bukeye Washing Station on Gaharo Hill in Murumvya, Burundi. The creation of Bukeye is a story of the spirit of Burundian coffee culture - the clay from the valley below the hill is where the bricks came from, the local farmers built the washing station with those bricks, and those farmers are the ones bringing their Red B and other local coffee varieties to those washing stations. Poetically, this coffee reminded us of yellow peach, crisp berries and oolong tea with lemon!
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 16.2.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
