An ‘Advanced Washed’ Bourbon Amarillo from Angie & Oscar Hernandez’ ‘Los Nogales’ in Huila, Colombia. Bourbon Amarillo is ‘Yellow Bourbon’, a rare mutation with hazy origins, so I won’t speculate on what I cannot confirm about where this variety came from. What I can say, is this lot was pulped, oxidised in ‘Cerexa’ (no idea soz) for 96 hours before being submerged in tanks for 144 hours with RN21, a lactobacillus strain, then the coffee is finally dried for 96 hours in mechanical driers. We tasted a vibrant and expressive profile, reminding us of lychee, orange, lime & citrus twist, honey and red velvet cake! Exceptionally silky & juicy!!

Sweven was founded by Jimmy & Aga Dimitrov, and they roast in Bristol, United Kingdom. This coffee was roasted on 31.3.25.

This coffee is 200g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
