A washed Gesha from Manuel Marlo Baca’s ‘Pacpa’ in Lonya Grande, Amazonas, Peru. Just like Prestin, I am a big fan of Marlo-Baca’s work here, with this sitting currently at my highest scored coffee of the year. Nothing crazy as far as processing goes, this is just a well sorted and exceptionally well fermented washed lot bursting with a super complex expression: we found an electric acidity, blood orange, ripe stonefruits and plenty of florals in this complex and nuanced coffee!
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 31.3.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
