A multi-stage washed Pink Bourbon from Sebastian Ramirez’ ‘El Placer’ in Calacara, Quindio, Colombia. We’ve had some truly left-of-field coffees from El Placer in the past, thanks to their innovative and patient approaches to coffee fermentation. This particular lot sings out with a unique body and complexity - we found an exquisitely intriguing profile, yearning and shifting through berries, spices and layered complex sweetness inamongst an ever changing aromatic profile. We tasted macerated berries, lavender, cardamom, spiced tea in a dynamic and complex profile.
