A washed Gesh from the ineffable Hacienda La Esmeralda in Boquete, Panama. This is a lot from their ‘Trapiche’ lot in their Cañas Verdas farm, and it is just a stunning representation of what the Panama take on the Gesha variety can offer. Extremely aromatic, I wrote ‘lavender’ a couple of times, before realising this was quite a hard coffee to describe! So I wrote ‘plush, fragrant, extremely complex aftertaste’. As the fog cleared, I found yellow plum and lychee, gold and purple, bright and easy drinking. Magnifique!
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 25.8.2025.
This coffee is 125g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
