A geisha from Gilberto Chilito’s ‘Villa Caney’ in Llanada de Naranjas, San Agustín, Huila, Colombia. This is a late harvest selection, fermented with some partially depulped cherries alongside the depulped stuff to give a bigger ripeness coming through in the cup. We found a tremendously complex and sweet coffee, reminding us of melon, nectarine, florals, jasmine tea on the first pass, and on the second we found a moreish aftertaste, rockmelon, jasmine, tropical and pineapple. A complex coffee that’s almost as good as it gets.
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 25.8.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
