A washed selection of K7 and the other usual Kenyan Varieties from the Kapsokisio Washing Station on Mount Elgon, Kenya. This is always an exciting release for me, showcasing what Kenyan coffee is like away from Mount Kenya. Kapsokisio producers work to the north west of Mount Kenya on Mount Elgon, near the border of Uganda. Here growers mostly use K7 as well as some sprinklings of the SL's, but ferment the coffees much the same, and this lot reminded us of blackcurrant and caramel in a juicy and bold cup on the first pass, cooling toward orange pie, rhubarb and lemon!

This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
