A washed selection of Ethiopian varieties from the Chelbessa Washing Station in Gedeb, Gedeo, Ethiopia. We’re no strangers to the incredible coffees that come from Chelbessa, and we are grateful to Prestin for releasing such a transparent and vibrant coffee! Here we tasted a clean and floral expression whilst hot, reminding us of the delicateness of rosewater, silky caramel body and a juicy watermelon sweetness toward the back. Once cooled, we found a juicy and tea-like character to this coffee, reminding us of lemongrass, peach and black tea - combined we found that vibrant range of colour from pink to orange, yellow to white, a neat catchall of what we hope to experience from Ethiopia each year.
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 29.9.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
