A washed Pink Bourbon from Servio Botina’s ‘Finca El Cedro’ in Purutal, San Agustín, Colombia. We have had Botina’s coffees multiple times now, and we found this lot to be extremely remarkable on the cupping table: a step away from the crisp and clean Pink B’s of the world toward something more malleable, rich and vibrant. We tasted a black grape smash, super ripe and slightly boozy profile, with a taper toward cooked peach sweetness on the hot pass, then we found a really sparkling profile reminding us of pineapple, golden sparkles, mango, nectarine, mandarin? with a soda mineral aftertaste. Super cool!

This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
