A washed Red Bourbon lot from Alexis & Aime Gahizi's Gitesi Washing Station in Western Rwanda. Gitesi was founded only as recently as 2005, and besides working with around 1800 local smallholder producers they also have a sizeable collection of around 20,000 coffee trees! Last year this coffee was among our top Rwandan lots, and this year we're finding that same sweetness and fruity complexity. We tasted red grape, black tea and a tropical acidity!
Koppi was founded by former Swedish Barista and Brewers Cup Champion, Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand, and they roast in Helsingborg, Sweden. This coffee was roasted between 2.5.2024
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
