
Kenya :) We are loving the complex and mouthwatering selections this year, and this lot is coming in from the Nyangeni community of Kirinyayga. As we have found consistently with Kenya this year, the coffees are juicy, highly transparent, high scoring with clearly defined flavours: a reminder of the unique and subtle complexities that often get overlooked in this diverse country. We tasted a ripe stewed strawberry sweetness with an orange brightness and mango aftertaste on the first pass, with the second pass revealing a red berry tea, vibrant and unique profile reminding us of plum, raspberry and violet.
Flower Child was founded by Prestin Yoder and they roast in Oakland, California. This coffee was roasted on 25.8.2025.
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 4 to 13 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container, and aiming for higher extractions while brewing. (See our Brew Guides for more info!)
