A washed selection from the Rungeto Farmer's Cooperative Societies' Kiangoi Washing Station in Kirinyaga, Kenya. Kirinyaga has a dense area of coffee and tea plantations that exist largely outside the realm of conventional farming pesticides and such - leading to a clear and vibrant story of volcanic soil and time-honed agriculture. Rungeto also run Kii and Karimikui, so we're really in the creme-de-la-creme of Kenya here, and we tasted blood orange, rhubarb and blackcurrant whilst hot, shifting toward a blackcurrant jam and blackberry tango with a pineapple twist!
