A honey processed Villalobos variety from Johnny Marín’s ‘Marespi’ in Chirripó, Costa Rica. Villalobos is a variety we have seldom shared in the past - a type of dwarf mutation of Typica. We found this to be quite a sweet and full-bodied cup, keeping the clean balance we find in the Typica variety alongside the ripe richness of Costa Rican coffee. Sweet and balanced, we were reminded of plum, honeycomb, brown sugar and chocolate!
ULT was founded by Boram Um, Takahiro Tsujimoto and Marcia Yoko and they roast in Osaka, Japan. This coffee was roasted on 2.6.2026.
This coffee is 150g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container. Please use cooler water, around 90-93ºC.
