A washed selection of the usual Kenyan varieties from the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative Society's 'Thunguri Washing Station' in Karatina, Kirinyaga, Kenya. From the south of Nyeri far at the foothills of Mount Kenya is the bustling market village Karatina, and the eponymous washing station collects cherries from almost 7000 local farmers. Like our favourite Kenyan lots, this coffee was washed in the running water of Mount Kenya, and we taste a bright plum acidity followed by passionfruit, and lemon pie in a floral and refreshing profile.
Koppi was founded by former Swedish Barista and Brewers Cup Champion, Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand, and they roast in Helsingborg, Sweden. This coffee was roasted on 16.9.26
This coffee is 250g. We recommend drinking it 3 to 12 weeks after roast, and storing in an airtight container.
