A washed SL28 from Alejo Castro Kahale's 'Finca Volcan Azul' in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Castro Kahale is a fifth generation coffee farmer who has been growing very unique cultivars and processing them with care and innovation, and the SL28 is among our favourites. We found a very honeyed sweetness that reminded us of blackberries, florals and lemon tart with a winey complexity.
